In an ideal world we’d all be stress free bundles of happiness and vitality. But the reality is it simply isn’t that easy. With the ever increasing pace of modern living it's becoming harder and harder to recognise just when our bodies have had enough. “You are what you eat”, "Your body is a temple". Such obvious recognisable statements of fact. It does not take an enlightened soul to realise that if we continue to abuse ourselves with ever increasing workloads, bad diets and lack of regular exercise things will go horribly wrong. There's nothing mystical or other worldly in this thinking. Its just simple common sense. Its this approach I bring to my classes and clients. Taking techniques from yoga, massage and meditation that are fundamentally practical in nature and teaching how to recognise the signs and symptoms of your body in distress. and how you can deal with this distress. We only have one body. If we don't look after it. It won't look after us. |
